For those of you who don't know me, my name is Tom Stevens. Some of you are  familiar with my work over the last 30 years, with my attempts to recapture the ol’ West through my Hondo Saddle business that has concentrated on bringing back a range of affordable, quality made western saddles to all of those who appreciate such creations. 

However, since the advent of bringing my business to the Internet, I have come across a small, but unique group of very discerning individuals, scattered around the World, who are seeking out just a little more than plain common-sense quality, craftsmanship and value for money when it comes to their saddles.

Yes, these men and women are looking for a lot more than this when it comes to their sense of style, horses, their way of life and, most importantly, their saddles. Their most important criteria when it comes to this area is not money – and by that I do not mean they necessarily have money to burn or waste on the tasteless frivolities of life – most important to these discerning people are all the factors and qualities that go into any quality product, and a great deal more!

As far as these folk’s saddles go, they really are not the kind of products that have been created in the last 50 years or so anywhere, and indeed are really only found in museums and the like—up until now!
